WAIST MEASUREMENT IS EQUAL TO, OR WIDER THAN, THE HIPS AND SHOULDERS
If you’re a Diamond, make the most of your figure by choosing swimwear that draws attention to your Decollete, such as a V-neck or plunging neckline.
To achieve this, choose either one-pieces with mid-body detailing such as ruching, or a Tankini singlet with A-line features that don’t cling to your mid-section.
PROMINENT BUST SIZE. BODY WIDTH IS GENERALLY MORE THAN THE WAIST AND HIPS.
If you’re a Heart, search for cup fittings with underwires and moulded bras in sizes marked D/DD/E/F. Adjustable, fuller-strap widths will help support the extra weight of your bust.
Try on different styles with your cup fitting to find the exact, most-flattering match for your body.
FULL BUST AND HIPS WITH A DEFINED WAISTLINE.
If you’re an Hourglass, keep an eye out for retro styles featuring waist detail (such as ruching) and beautiful necklines. Wide straps or halter-necks are best as they draw the eye upwards to your shoulders.
Always support the bust with hidden underwires and specially moulding. Camouflage problem areas with larger prints – they’re much more effective than solid colour.
GENERALLY SHORTER IN HEIGHT WITH PROPORTIONED PHYSICAL FEATURES.
If you’re Square/Petite, accentuate your curves by choosing details such as cutouts, ruffles, and frills.
Look for moulded push-up bras with booster pads to enhance your cleavage, and opt for pants with side ties and skirt details to widen your slim hips.
HIPS AND SHOULDERS ARE APPROXIMATELY THE SAME WIDTH. MINIMAL WAIST DEFINITION, GENERALLY A SMALL BUST.
If you’re a Rectangle, the goal is to create a waistline and draw the eye away from your mid-section.
Plunging necklines, halter straps, and strapless bandeau’s are ideal. So, too, are pants with frilled detail and girly skirts. These pieces all ensure the focus isn’t on your torso.
HIPS AND BUTTOCKS ARE WIDER THAN THE SHOULDERS.
If you’re a Triangle, select swimwear that draws the eye up. Halter straps will balance your shoulder width and minimise your hips.
Enhance your bust with moulded booster tops, ruffles, and frills. When choosing bikini sets, opt for a fuller pant with correct coverage.
